The first Beaver purchased by Fieldair, originally imported by De Havilland, Wellington
Lawson Field saw the capabilities of this aircraft and bought it 19/12/1951.
Gerry Oman was the first pilot to fly it on topdressing off Gisborne Airport.. Also flown at Gisborne by Bob Allen, Noel Marshall and
Bruce Thompson
Restored as the East Coast Air Services "Flagship" 10/07/1961.
Flown by Don Thorpe. Back with Fieldair 1962
Based at Gisborne, Wairoa, Hastings, Waipukarau, Masterton and Dannevirke
Flown by Jack McCurdy at Wairoa 1965  Force landed in swamp at Wairoa, 1968. Flown by Owen Martin 1970
Flown by Tiri Manahi 1972-75 from Dannevirke.

Sold to Walair Ltd., Walcha, NSW, Australia 16/03/98 where it is still active topdressing as VH-WOZ

Sold back to Kayla Holdings 23/02/2009. To be shipped back to NZ and become ZK-AZB in the old blue
Fieldair colours.
